Hello, my name is Daniela and I am a 
Colombian illustrator based in beautiful Vienna.

I've loved brushes and colors since I can remember, and that's what brought me to this magical path of illustration, because a single image can open endless possibilities. I like to mix traditional techniques with digital ones to give my work a unique and analogue touch. My work always reflects nature because it fascinates me, mixed with a dreamy style that allows the viewer to see beyond the accompanying text.

I was part of the City Games Vienna team that developed urban games like Monster Hunt and worked on different book projects.  I have illustrated four books as co-author, two in Colombia and two in Austria. Our book "Y Dios hizo el color" with 50 of my illustrations made it to the top ten bestseller list in Colombia for a few months in 2016. "Domando al Dragón" was reissued in a second edition for the Mexican market in 2022.

I have a BA in Product Design from the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia, and an MA in Textile Art Design from the University of Art in Linz, Austria.
